This OAG is only 9mm thick and thus add very little back focus. In the package I also include the Orion Starshoot Deep space color imaging camera. It is not a great camera for astrophotography (however it works as intended), but works fine as a guide camera. That is why I included it with the OAG. The camera has quite some signs of wear and tear, but the sensor works fine as a guide camera. It comes with usb-cable and software. Since this is a discontinued model since some years using it with MaximDL requires that one downloads a legacy MaximDL driver set from their website.
There are no available product information for the camera on the webb so I write it down here. CCD Sensor - Sony ExView HAD ICX259AK Color. CCD Sensor size - 1/3", Pixel array - 752x582, Chip size - 6 x 4.95 mm, Pixel size - 6.5 x 6.25 micrometers, Exposure range - 0.002sec to 9.3hrs, A/D conversion - 16bit, USB 2.0.
The package consist of the following items:
-
TS Optics - ultra short 9mm Off Axis Guider (see image): Except for the OAG three adapters are included. One Adapter ring for EOS bayonet, one M48 adapter and one T2 adapter. At Teleskop-Express the OAG sells new for 1400SEK (159EUR), including one of the adapter rings. The adapter rings sells for 220SEK (25EUR) each.
-
Orion Starshoot Deep space color imaging camera (see image): It is not sold new anymore but I found one used for sale on the net here for 940SEK (145USD). It seem to be in nicer condition than mine so my estimate for my camera would be 500SEK.
At The "new"-price for the OAG would be 1840SEK adding the Orion would give ca 2500SEK. I will sell this package for for 1000SEK or as part of a larger package.
