Ooops the image is missing.

Mouseover of the small thumbnails to the left to show larger images of the astrotrac.Righ-click on the large image to save the full image.

The camera (Canon 40D) on the images is NOT included but added to the images for illustration purposes.

This is the first generation Astrotrac and it looks a bit different than the current generation - see astrotrac homepage, but the functionality is the same. The difference is that the latest generation has autoguiding functionality and is a little bit lighter. The standard package comes with a polar alignement scope and power cables. The power cables can be connected to a battery pack (included) or a 12V power supply.

Below is a 180s subexposure of the orion-hourse nebula region taken thru a Canon 200mm lens at f2.8. The only processing made is calibration (flat, dark and bias) and stretching. Click on it to open up a full resolution image.

Note that the lens was wide open (f2.8) which gives some coma to the stars. Later I found out that the particular lens I used was good for astrophotography from f4.

Except for the Astrotrac, polar alignemnt scope and power cable it comes with the following non-standard acessories:

At Astrosweden a new Astrotrac sells for 4995SEK. Together with the above the "new price" would be in the range 15 000 to 17 000 SEK. I will sell the complete package as described above (without the camera) for 7500SEK.
